J’s Five Two Boutique Hotel by TWIN STAR HOTEL. Co-owned by young new gen entrepreneur’s Mrs. Aarthi Raghuraman and Ms. Vidya Balakrishnan. This young duo has made their mark in the Hotel industry Year – 2016 and have been pouring in new ideas for this new era style of stay.
While the hospitality industry at large is making important strides to address gender equality, only 26% of senior leadership positions are currently occupied by women, despite making up 50% of the workforce globally. There are also still many challenges women face when climbing to the top of the ranks in the hotel industry: childcare issues, gender bias and unequal pay being just a few prominent examples.
